Giving at Summit
Since 1968, The Summit School’s pioneering programs have prepared thousands of students with special needs to live rewarding and productive lives. There are many ways that you can support our school and help us continue our commitment to excellence.
Each year at our Annual Benefit, we reach out to our supporters to help us close the gap between tuition revenues and the actual cost of providing our students with the very best educational and therapeutic services.
Our Capital Campaign helps us keep our infrastructure up to date and helps us accomplish our long-term goals.
Our parents have initiated programs such as our Swim-A-Thon and formed teams to run in marathons that raise money specifically targeted to meet our technology needs.
WAYS TO GIVE
The entire Summit community appreciates your support.
There are a variety of ways you can make a charitable contribution to The Summit School. Your gift is tax deductible because The Summit School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Contribute by Check or Credit Card: Your money goes to work immediately helping to educate The Summit School students.
Pledge to Make A Future Donation: Your pledge will help us plan our finances. We hope you will make a long-term pledge to support our school over the years.
Donate Stocks and Securities: You may find that you can give more to The Summit School at less cost to you by donating stocks and securities that are worth more now than when you bought them. Each tax situation is different, but oftentimes donated property that was owned for more than one year merits a tax deduction including not only cost, but also any untaxed appreciation.
Make A Matching Gift: Many employers have a matching gift policy to double or sometimes triple the amount of cash or securities that an employee or his/her spouse donates. If you are the owner of a business, it may be advantageous to have your business match your personal gift to The Summit School because your business may also take a tax deduction for a percentage of the contribution you make.
Create A Commemorative Gift: Commemorative gifts offer you the opportunity to honor a family member, a special teacher, or dear friend.
Please call us to discuss these opportunities and any other options you would like to explore.
