Organizational Skills

The primary goal of Summit’s organizational skills program is to help students become
independent learners.

Our organizational strategies include: 
•  Schoolwide binder system ensures consistency throughout our elementary, middle,
   and high school programs
•  Daily homework sheets enable students to independently record current assignments
•  Monthly calendars provide visual reminders for long-term projects
•  Use of Learning Style Inventory (LSI) assesses individual learning styles
•  Behavior Motivation Program: students practice appropriate behavior to be successful 
   in school, work, and life 
•  Time management
•  Study skills
