Swim-A-Thon: Laps for Learning

Summit’s students have been making a big splash for the school since our inaugural Swim-A-Thon in 2009 when Lower School students raised more than $15,000 to help renovate their classrooms. Every year since, the Parents’ Association has helped to raise the stakes: In 2010, more than $40,000 was contributed to support the Lower School Yard project; the 2011 Laps for Laptops initiative involved more than 100 students whose athletic efforts helped to purchase 50 new Macbooks for mobile learning; and the 2012 Laps for Learning initiative raised over $30,000 for interactive and collaborative learning technology in the Lower School.
