Student Activities

National Honor Society

The Summit School has been a chapter member of the National Honor Society since 1997.  The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, the NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

International Travel Program

Since 1997, our middle and high school students have had the opportunity to travel to Europe and other foreign destinations during spring break chaperoned by experienced staff members. Our international travel program is an independent, fee-based activity. Students have visited England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, and Costa Rica. This international travel experience is a great opportunity for our students to experience other cultures firsthand, to extend learning beyond the classroom, as well as to travel with old friends and to make new friends.

Where are we off to next? Our students are eagerly awaiting tour details.

Interscholastic Sports

Summit School co-ed team members compete in four sports in the Metro League. All practice and competition is scheduled outside of school hours.
